Time Not Updating, goes to 1970 after several hours

Question

Hi,

I have this same problem, I changed the time servers to .uk but as expected made no difference.

The previous version I have (without the carousel) doesn't appear to have  this problem.

I would like to understand and hopefully resolve the problem so I have two questions;

How is the time called from the ntp servers and how often should the call be made? I'm wondering if too frequent calls 'block' you for a while?

Did the previous version I have (without the carousel) use a different method to get the time? I notice  #include "TimeClient.h"  in the code...
